The A860 marine VHF differentiates itself with brass radiators, radome and coax cable construction. Spiral copper wires inserted in brass radiating elements assure long range communication and superior reception performance. The radome is made of mirror polished double
thick fiberglass polyurethane resistant to UV rays. The A860 is supplied with 20 feet of RG-58C/U (Milspec C17) double shielded low loss coax cable which supplies maximum power to the antenna while rejecting onboard noise.
